Ok now that you have found the niche that you want to start promoting lets build a campaign by doing some niche research.

No this post is not about keyword research but generating keywords is a critical part to build ing your niche campaign.

As an example lets look at product that I found on Clickbank the product that we found in the Health and Fitness niche, Fatlossforidiots.com.

What we want to do is have a look at the sales page so that we can get an idea of what this site is basically all about.

As we peruse through the site here are some of the common keywords that we find the following keywords:

• Low Fat Foods
• Low Calorie Diets
• Low Carb Plans
• Fat Burning Diet
• Weight Loss
• Fat Loss Diets

As you can see from the above niche research keywords the central them is consistent with the word diet, loss, weight and plan. Lets start our search with “weight loss diets”.

There are tons of niche keyword research tools that you can use to perform all your keyword but for the sake of saving money lets use the free “Google Keyword Tool”.

Besides using the free “Google Keyword Tool” is just as sufficient as any keyword tool plus its free.

So what we want from our keyword generation is to gather all the keywords and place them into a spreadsheet. You do this simply by clicking the “Add” button next to the keyword that you want.

However I recommend that you scroll down to the bottom of this list and click the “Download all keywords, csv (for excel). This neat little feature will capture all the keywords on this list put them into an Excel spreadsheet for you.

Now you will want to do this for each keyword that you generated from your review of the salespage.

By doing so you will find that you now have a list of hundreds of keywords that you can test to determine which is driving the most traffic and also capture of ton of “online real estate” to be used later as you build your business and marketing strategy.

Niche Research Can Lead To A Keyword List Explosion

To really expand your keyword list I going to you a great technique that is quick and easy.

Take a list of the top 20-50 search terms for your market, including the “large volume” terms.

Open up another browser to the Google home page. Once on the home page type one of your keywords into the search bar.

For this example I am going to use “quick weight loss diet” as our word of choice. What you will find is all the top sites on Google for this keyword. Now we will take the top result (you can choose any of the results that your want) can copy the URL.

Now lets take our copy URL and plug it into the Google Keyword Research Tool.

1. Once you get to main screen as shown above select “Website Content” under the header of “How would you like to generate keyword ideas?”        

2. Paste you URL that you grabbed from the results page for “quick weight loss diet”. Check the little box to “Include other pages on my site linked from this URL. 
   
3. Click the button to “get keyword ideas.” This will generate a thematically grouped listing of up to 200 search terms from a site. You can also analyze things a page at a time, by unchecking the “include other pages” option. 
   
4. You can remove the thematic grouping, get more accurate keyword counts by switching the match type to Exact, and see some “hidden” information with show/hide columns” menu. 

By drilling down into specific  niche research keywords and variations, you should be able to create a pretty large list of keywords.
